The Counselor Advancement Program (CAP) is a 3 session intensive program offered by Wespine Study Center to assist those interested in serving as Counselors at the Wespine SuperCamp.

The Wespine SuperCamp is an action-packed summer (day-only) camp for entering 4th through 7th grade boys. The camp aim to help boys develop the skills and virtues necessary to be leaders. In order to achieve this goal, the staff is crucial. Above all, counselors who stand out in maturity, industriousness, spirit of service, and desire to grow in personal character are needed.

While participating in the workshop is no guarantee that a candidate will secure a spot as a counselor in either camp, successful completion of the program will likely be a great aid to one’s application.

Program Dates:

April 12th:  Session 1 (12 PM - 2 PM)
April 19th:  Session 2 (12 PM - 2 PM)
May 10th:  Session 3 (12 PM - 5 PM

Returning Counselors will be expected to plan and lead at least one session of CAP. Counselor Candidates are expected to attend every portion of the program, but we do allow candidates to miss one of Session I or Session II. Special Accommodations must be made regarding the Session III Workday when Head Counselors will be announced.

The workshop will take place on Saturdays from 12 PM until 2 or 5 PM. However each candidate will be expected to invest time outside of the workshop for personal development and for contributing to program initiatives.
