About Wespine

In 1956, a group of professionals invested in a house on West Pine Avenue in the Central West End of Saint Louis to start Wespine Study Center. Decades later, thousands of men have benefited from the programs made available to them as the result of the generosity of these original men. Now hundreds of people regularly contribute to make the programs of Wespine available to any young man who wants to develop his character.

The spiritual dimension of the center is entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church, and the resident chaplain is an Opus Dei priest. Wespine’s programs and services are open to all regardless of race, creed or socio-economic background. More information about Opus Dei and it’s message.
